I posted some content earlier today and it's been deleted already. While the work was somewhat on the grotesque side it represented OC and I'd like to know who deleted it and why (we haven't made 'pretty' a consideration here before). Likewise I posted a comment on someone else's submission and it too was deleted; are we only permitted to comment as to coloring now?

Have to concurr. A couple of sourced 47k pics of Merula from the HP mobile game were deleted despite them being requests from /aco/. Yesterday I uploaded a Sari picture and its variant by Terrible, both sourced. Now one is gone.

The moderation is way too trigger happy.

/aco/ isn't just adult /co/, it's basically adult "everything western" which doesn't necessarily stay within /co/'s bounds. Nerula is /v/. There are probably some other /v/ characters who don't belong on this booru as well so this is selective moderation.


booru.org is cracking down on some content and TTDF's pic might have fallen in that area.

In regards to my original post, the deleted images were all edits and intentionally grotesque variants of the original images, so I can understand if one of the other admins here thought I was just shitposting for the fun of it.

I mean, it was a sfw Teenage Sari picture that Terrible added earrings to as per the original request. I uploaded as I found them reading the thread with minutes of difference. The earrings picture still stands, the non earrings variant got deleted without as much as a comment.

I can understand the Merula stuff to a degree (it is a book, movie, game franchise without a comic component).

I still object to that stance, tho. Drawfagottry needs to be saved when possible, specially when we're talking about well known drawfags with extensive bodies of work.

One thing is the artists personal stuff, a request is something else.

I recently went over my folders and found a treasure trove of art from the likes of Hawkgirl, lackt and planetofjunk that I'm scared to even attempt to share because of this recurring attitude.

Most stuff we removed is usually because loli/shota depictions of children or young teens, we also remove overly gross stuff.
